Sympany’s journey to a more sustainable world began over 30 years ago. We started collecting textiles in the Netherlands. Since 2015 under the name Sympany. We collect approximately 20-24 million kilos of clothing per year. We sell the clothes that are re-wearable. Reuse is still the most sustainable option. So that’s what we aim for, but we also look for suitable solutions for the recycle qualities that we collect. We invest in recycling and innovation. Together with partners we can make more and more from old textiles. From cleaning cloths and isolation material to new yarns. But we’re not there yet. Sympany is working on a circular textile chain with the conservation of raw materials. By collecting, sorting and reselling textile, we focus on maximum reuse and recycling. Our goal is to give all collected textile a new sustainable purpose.
